Couponing

Attended a money saving seminar last week. Looking forward to spending $0 at CVS weekly!

Tonight I stated implementing what I learned.
From the Sunday paper,
took the CVS ad and circled items I need and were on sale.
Pulled the coupon sections and clipped coupons of only items I currently need and were circled in CVS ad.
Pulled coupons of items from CVS circled items

Learned that most of them have the scissors icon to help match up coupons.

Looked for and found 3 CVS bucks not yet expired, totaling $5.

Still need to visit www.couponmom.com to look for additional coupons for items circled.

Can't wait for my first weekly CVS trip tomorrow!

Grandma Lê & me

At the foot massage:
About a third of the way into the massage-
Grandma: Do you have cash?
Me: Yes, how much do you need?
Grandma: a hundred or two
Me: (Wow, that's exactly how much I have, 2 $100 bills.). I do, what do you need it for?
Grandma: this man is doing a great job, I'd like to pay him well for his services
Me: lol, I got it Grandma.
Grandma: (in VN to the Chinese masseuse) you're doing a good job, I'm gonna refer the whole village to you. We have a lot of people in my village.
Me: Lol (giving the man a thumbs up). She likes you.

Back at my moms-
Me: Mom, did Carter sleep well?
Grandma: oh yeah, he was still asleep when I got back from church.
Me: you just got back from church? What about your massage?
Grandma: what massage? And where are these boys' mom, why are you having to watch them?

Lmao
I heart you Ba Ngoai.

Even though she didn't remember our massage from 15 minutes earlier, we shared a special hour together.

Alzheimer's sure does rob you from your quality of life. Sometimes making memories doesn't mean remembering the past; it means enjoying the present.
