Art Museum w the Robletos

MFAH Summer Art Detectives

Ms. Erin came over and pick us up in her cool 12-passenger van!  We went with her sons:  Aria, Nathan and John, to the Museum of Fine Arts.  We got to see the special Light exhibit (no photos allowed), sketch art, play detective in the European Art Gallery, learn about the Artists Jacques-Raymond Brascassat, who painted realistic dogs and bulls; and Wassily Kansinsky who was inspired by Monet.  Finally, we got our tool box; this week we got a ruler.  Lincoln used it to measure an art book- 10 points, I mean 10 inches long.  We also ran into Ms. Joelle and John, our neighbors
there!

Then we picnicked at the sculpture garden... And saw John again!  He had lunch already so his mom got him an ice cream.

We finished our lunch and stopped by HEB for Mommy to pick up some ice cream for all of us.  We enjoyed them in our kitchen.  It was nice to cool off at home!

What a fun day!  Ms. Erin invited us to her house next week.  Yay!
