Lincoln's First Day of School

We had a busy weekend w Carter's birthday party (He turned 2, we had a Nemo splash pad themed party w family) so everyone, including Lincoln, was tired.

I quietly called his name in the morning, then quickly ran to get the camera.

Stories

Carter:
Today Carter took Langs hand to the ground and asked him to play lions.  Carter roared at Lang.  Lang ran away scared.  Carter got up and ran along w him, gripping him for dear life.  He looked at what Lang was so scared of.  Repeat x 3.  Finally he started roaring and intermittently looking behind to see if there was something he needed to be scared of too!

Lincoln:
Today L asked me to come to his room in 5 minutes to tuck him in.  I did.  He asked
Why did you take so long?
I said
I came back in 5 minutes. It was 8:56.  Now it's 9, see?  Can you see that far?

No mommy, I can only see 1/2 a mile.

Sibling and cousins photo session

Saturday- Grandkids pictures.  Lincoln loves his green Hulk socks.  Carter's nap was interrupted, so no big smiles from him.  This'll do.

Sunday- L wanted pho for dinner, so that's what we did.  When we got home, everyone was in the house but Carter was still in the garage distracted about something.  I told him, "c'mon Carter", slowing closing the door.
Lincoln:  no Mommy, I want someone to sleep in my room!
